How to gain consumer attention

A complex but interesting case to analyze was found in Quito, Ecuador.

As our Venezuelan and Columbian friends will know well, Arepas are a traditional sandwich amongst these parts. Looking at the photo below however, what I’m not sure about is that these sandwiches are quite as aggressive as the manner in which they are depicted in the displayed Point Of Sale (POS). To close our point, ask yourself, who will eat who? Will we eat the Arepa, or will the Arepa eat us? The display definitely attracts attention “that” is undeniable; however, it may not be the attention we’d like
